How do I optimize my profile for opportunities in my region or specialty?

Last updated: October 10, 2026

Two things go a long way. First, set your location accurately on your profile (Profile, then Overview), since it is a key input for regional matching. Second, add projects and case studies that show concrete, specific outcomes you have delivered for clients (Profile, then Projects, then Add Work). Results speak louder than titles.

Why don't I see many opportunities in my industry?

The number and type of opportunities depends on what clients need right now. Specialized industries may have fewer listed roles, and not every engagement is posted on the job board. Many are filled by our team reaching out directly.

That's why a complete profile matters. Make sure yours includes:

  • Relevant industries
  • Functional expertise and specific skills (Profile, then Tags)
  • Where you're based and where you can work
  • The business problems you're best equipped to solve
  • Measurable outcomes from previous work

Add more projects and case studies. This is the single most useful thing you can do. Each one shows a different kind of work you've delivered, so the more you add, the more opportunities we can consider you for.

If your industry isn't available as its own category, choose the closest functional categories. For example, someone with commercial real estate experience can also be discovered through Finance, Strategy, or Operations.
